Brown cow Dublin is thrilled, excited, delighted (the list goes on!!!) to announce
the appointment of Michelle Heaton as our “Celebrity Stylist”
and “Personal Shopper.” Michelle Heaton, a native of Newcastle who now lives
in Dublin is a former band member of the chart topping group “Liberty X.” She also participated
in last year’s Celebrity Big Brother and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new
range of services at brown cow, not to mention her positive outlook on life and the oodles of
fun she is known for.
More recently though and on Irish soil you may have seen Michelle as she judged the “You Are A Star”
talent competition on RTE; or when she guest hosted the “Podge and Rodge Show”; maybe it was when she
took part in “Failte Towers” for charity to name but a few. And of course she is a regular at brown cow
so you might have spotted her getting her nails done when you were in for your treatments with us!
Michelle has been in the business for over 9 years and in that time she believes she has learned a
tremendous amount about the Do’s and Don’ts of personal styling, everything from clothes, to shoes,
to hair and make-up, to personal fitness and nutrition. As Michelle herself candidly admits with
that infectious giggle;
“I have learned how to get it right by getting it wrong so many times!!! As I have matured I have
realised that less is more and today I finally feel completely comfortable with my own personal style,
I’m such a girly girl. Like every girl out there though I of course have hang ups but have learned
to make the most of them by choosing clothes that suit my body type and colours that highlight my
best features and hide the ones I am not so keen on. It is not brain surgery anyway; most of it is
common sense once you get the help and advice I have received over the years. So I am aiming to pass
on what I have learned to the clients of brown cow so that they too can have fun with their personal
style and make the most of their best features.”
Michelle does not claim to be a style guru or indeed a fitness or nutritional expert; on the contrary,
Michelle’s talents come from her wealth of personal experience and her down to earth attitude with
that fab girly flair she radiates. She simply wants to share what she has learned over the years
and as she says herself;
“I am so passionate about fashion, styling, hair and makeup, keeping fit, nutrition and all things
girly that I thought styling and personal shopping would be a perfect fit for me, doing something
I love really appeals to me. Just thinking about all of this gets me excited and I cannot wait to
start! To be able to pass on what I have learned makes this all worthwhile, seeing someone’s face
light up when they try on THE dress or THE pair of jeans it such a thrill for me, not to mention
the fun I just know I will have with brown cows clients. Even something as simple as the right bra
can make all the difference!! Girls out there can ask my advice on all things fashion, styling,
and keeping fit or maybe they just want to have a girly giggle and a gossip with me as we go
through the consultation glasses of champers in hand! Either way I will do my best to make sure
everyone who leaves the salon after their consultation with me has had a personal, fun and
informative experience and is going away with a new outlook on their own personal style with
lots of tips and tricks of the trade to take with them. If I can achieve that my job is done!”

Having limited (well none really) experience myself in fashion or styling, spending an hour
with her changed all that. I learned a lot from her in such a short period of time and belly
laughed all the way through (she also gave me some tips on how to hide said belly with the right
pair of trousers!). I know our clients are going to love the services as much as we do and I believe

Consultations in salon
1 x person 1 x hour = €150
2 x people 1 x hour = €225
*and €125 per hour thereafter i.e. 1 x person 2 x hours = €275 or 2 x people 2 x hours €350
What to expect from the consultation?
This consultation is tailored around your needs and the focus will be on you and what you want to achieve from a styling and personal fashion perspective. Even before meeting Michelle you will fill out an in-depth pre consultation form so she gets a real feel for your likes and dislikes, your areas of concern and your expectations. As Michelle says
“The more I know about the client before I meet them, the better, it will allow me to get a real feel for who they are and what they want to achieve to make sure they get the most out of it. At the end of the day I want to make sure everyone who avails of the service walks away having achieved their personal styling goals. For example if you feel you can never get right fitting trousers, the right fitting bra or a top that really makes you look fab, I want you walking away knowing what will best suit your shape.”
You will be asked to bring in pieces from your wardrobe, your favourite piece of clothing, your top accessories, your make up, your fav shoes, really anything you feel will help Michelle get a real feel for what you like to wear. Maybe you could bring your favourite casual outfit and your favourite “on the town” outfit – this part we will leave to you but it is really important that what you bring with you represents how you like to dress. Michelle will cover everything from fashion and clothing, to hair and makeup, to keeping fit and healthy, but remember this is your consultation so she will focus on what is most important to you.

What to expect from the consultation?
This is where the fun starts! You and a friend get to do “all of the above” but as a twosome so you can share the experience. A great way to spend some quality and fun time with a girlfriend whilst learning lots about your individual styles!
*Note: The consultations will be one hour minimum in duration and will take place in brown cow. We will need one weeks’ notice of an appointment. This consultation also makes a fabulous gift. If you are purchasing a consultation as a gift we will ask you to make sure the person you are gifting it to calls in to us to fill out the pre consultation form and to make their appointment. All Celebrity Styling Services must be paid for in advance, at time of booking.

What to expect from the personal shopping?
Following your consultation with Michelle you can avail of the personal shopping service when you have had time to take in all the advice and tips she has given you. In other words now that you know what suits you, you need to know the best place to get it! Michelle will accompany you on a shopping trip, following through on the consultation by helping you pick the types of clothes, shoes and accessories that highlight your best features. All you need to do is let us know your budget, what you are looking to buy and your fav shops! You might want to spruce up your wardrobe with new pieces, you may want to pick up an outfit for a particular event or you may just want to see where the moment takes you! Michelle has a wealth of knowledge on all the hot shopping spots around Dublin and based on your budget and what you are looking for, between the two of you, you will chose the best shopping location that meets all your needs and rendezvous there!
